Carpet Wizard – Terms of service

By booking services with Carpet Wizard, submitting a form through our website, advertisements, social media pages, booking systems, or otherwise communicating with our business, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Services Provided


Carpet Wizard provides professional carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, furniture cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, and other floor care services for residential and commercial customers.


Service details, pricing, and availability are subject to change based on actual job conditions, square footage, severity of staining, odors, pet contamination, accessibility, and additional requested services.


2. Estimates & Pricing


Quotes provided online, over the phone, through advertisements, AI systems, automated messages, or lead forms are estimates only and may be adjusted upon inspection.


A minimum service charge of $200 may apply unless otherwise stated in writing or through a promotional offer. Promotional pricing is temporary and subject to change without notice.


Additional services requested during the appointment may increase the final invoice total.


3. Deposits & Payments


A deposit may be required to secure an appointment due to scheduling demand. All deposits are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated.


Deposits are applied toward the final invoice balance.


Full payment is due immediately upon completion of service. Carpet Wizard accepts approved payment methods including cash, major credit/debit cards, and financing options when available.


4. Cancellation & Rescheduling


Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule an appointment without penalty.


Same-day cancellations, locked-out appointments, or failure to be present during the scheduled arrival window may result in a cancellation fee of up to $50.


Deposits are nonrefundable for same-day cancellations or no-show appointments.


5. Card on File Authorization


By providing payment information during booking or through any connected platform, the customer authorizes Carpet Wizard to charge the card on file for approved services, unpaid balances, cancellation fees, no-show fees, or chargeback-related costs.


6. Customer Responsibilities


Customers are responsible for:


Providing safe and accessible entry to service areas

Removing fragile, valuable, or breakable items

Securing pets when necessary

Informing Carpet Wizard of any known damage, hazards, or special conditions before service


Failure to provide reasonable access may result in cancellation fees or rescheduling.


7. Furniture Moving


Our technicians may move light furniture such as chairs, ottomans, or small tables when reasonably safe to do so.


We do not move:


Beds

Electronics

Pianos

Large sectionals

Antiques

Fragile or high-value items


Carpet Wizard is not responsible for damage to unstable, improperly assembled, or previously damaged furniture.


8. Results Disclaimer


While we strive to achieve the best possible results, Carpet Wizard does not guarantee complete stain, odor, or spot removal.


Some stains and conditions may be permanent, including but not limited to:


Pet urine damage

Dye stains

Bleach damage

Rust stains

Permanent discoloration

Wear patterns

Chemical damage


Cleaning may reveal pre-existing damage or discoloration not previously visible.


9. Drying Times


Drying times typically range from 6–24 hours depending on airflow, humidity, carpet type, and environmental conditions.


Customers are responsible for maintaining proper ventilation and airflow after service. Carpet Wizard is not liable for issues resulting from poor drying conditions.


10. Communication Consent


By submitting your information through our website, advertisements, social media pages, booking forms, lead forms, or third-party platforms, you consent to receive communications from Carpet Wizard regarding your inquiry, appointments, estimates, services, promotions, and follow-ups.


Communications may include:


Phone calls

Text messages (SMS)

Emails

Automated messages

AI-assisted or AI-generated voice calls


These communications may be delivered using automated technology, prerecorded messages, or artificial intelligence systems when live staff are unavailable.


Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.


Customers may opt out at any time by:


Replying STOP to text messages

Requesting removal during a phone call

Contacting Carpet Wizard directly

11. Third-Party Platforms & Software


Carpet Wizard may use third-party platforms and software providers to manage customer communications, appointments, invoices, estimates, automation, and marketing.


These platforms may include:


Housecall Pro

HighLevel

Meta Business Suite

Website forms and integrated booking systems


By using our services, you acknowledge that your submitted information may be securely stored and processed through these systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


12. Satisfaction Policy


Any concerns regarding completed work must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.


Carpet Wizard will make reasonable efforts to inspect and address valid service-related concerns.


13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes


Customers agree to contact Carpet Wizard before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.


In the event of a dispute, Carpet Wizard reserves the right to provide documentation including:


Signed agreements

Invoices

Service records

Communications

Before-and-after photos

GPS or appointment records


Customers may be held responsible for collection costs, legal fees, or processing fees associated with unpaid balances or improper chargebacks.


14. Limitation of Liability


Carpet Wizard’s total liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service rendered.


Under no circumstances shall Carpet Wizard be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.


15. Right to Refuse Service


Carpet Wizard reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or reschedule services if conditions are deemed unsafe, hazardous, unsanitary, abusive, or materially different from what was originally represented during booking.


16. Website Use


By using the Carpet Wizard website, you agree not to misuse the website, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with website functionality.


All website content, branding, logos, and media remain the property of Carpet Wizard unless otherwise stated.


17. Updates to These Terms


Carpet Wizard reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised effective date.
